4 HEIs sa Iloilo City, ginpasugtan nga mag-implementar sang limited face-to-face classes
MANILA – Apat ka higher education institutions (HEIs) Iloilo City ang nalakip sa 24 ka mga colleges kag universities sa pungsod nga ginhatagan sang go signal nga mag-implementar sang limitado nga face-to-face classes sugod sa second semester sang acedemic year 2020-2021.
Base sa statement sang Commission on Higher Education (CHED), “have fully complied with the CHED-DOH (Department of Health) guidelines and have been inspected by CHED and their LGUs (local government units) so they can now bring their 3rd and 4th year students for hands-on training and laboratory classes in a limited face-to-face system.
Ang apat ka eskwelahan sa Iloilo City amo ang: – West Visayas State University- Central Philippine University- Iloilo Doctors’ College of Medicine- University of Iloilo PHINMA.
Magluwas sa apat, may 20 ka HEIs ang ginpasugtan man halin sa nagkalain-lain nga rehiyon sa pungsod.
Suno sa CHED, ang selected nga health-related courses pareho sang Medicine, Nursing, Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science, Physical Therapy, Midwifery, kag Public Health, ang ginprayoridad agud, “to enable students to achieve key learning outcomes on specialized laboratory courses and hospital-based clinical clerkship/internship/practicum and to provide additional manpower to the country’s health system.”
Ginpahayag naman ni CHED chairperson Prospero De Vera nga padayon nila nga i-monitor ang nasambit nga HEIs agud masiguro nga nagahatag sang safe kag healthy spaces para sa mga estudyante. –Via CNN Philippines
