Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas gin-ako nga gin-request ang pag-ilis kay Col. Leo Batiles bilang ICPO Director tungod sa performance sa illegal drugs

Ginkumpirmar ni Mayor Jerry Treñas nga gin-request niya ang pagbag-o sa liderato sang Iloilo City Police Office tungod sa performance sa away kontra illegal drugs.

Suno sa alkalde, nagapangayo siya sang pagbag-o sa kampanya batuk ilegal nga droga.

Ginpahayag ni Mayor Treñas nga halin sang Setyembre sang nagligad nga tuig, ginpanawagan na niya sa PNP nga hugton pa gid ang kampanya.

Ginahimo sang City Government ang tanan nga suporta para sa PNP rason nga ginatawag niya ang atensyon sang kapulisan nga himuon ang ila parte.

“I have requested for a change in leadership in the City PNP. I am asking for a renewed drive against illegal drugs. I am one with the DILG Secretary when he calls for a reinvigorated drive against illegal drugs that affect our communities. Iloilo City is one among the cities in the country which has propositioned its resources in assisting the PNP in terms of police cars, gasoline allocations for all the vehicles, pistols, rifles, shotguns, ammunition, firing range, swat teams, swat equipment and vans, police stations in ICARE stations, allowances to the PNP personnel assigned in Iloilo City, canine units with dog food, motorcycles and even our own police auxiliaries and green guards. Since September last year in a meeting with all the barangay captains, all PNP officers, coast guard personnel, CAAP and DILG, I have instructed the PNP to go vigorously against illegal drugs in the barangays. The city is more than doing its part in this respect. I am now calling on the PNP to do its part.” – Mayor Jerry Treñas
