ILOILO — Gin-activate ni Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. ang operation bulig Ilonggo migrants desk agud nga maka-assist sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers kag sa ila pamilya nga apektado sang tensyon sang tunga sang Israel kag Palestine.

Ginpangunahan sang Public Employment Service Office kag Provincial Civil Defense Office ang nasambit nga help desk.

Magluwas sa help desk ginre-activate man sang provincial government ang Task Force Bulig Ilonggo sa diin naghimo sang social media platform agud mahapos nga makaresponse sa mga pamilya kag biktima sang giyera sa Israel.

Suno kay PESO head Francisco Heler Jr., “We want to let them know that we have a help desk that will assist them in times of crisis,”

Ginpahayag naman ni OIC-Governor kag Provincial Administrator Raul Banias nga nagapakig-angut siya sa Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) kag Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) agud ma-monitor ang nagakatabo sa Israel.

Mahatag naman sang immediate assistance ang provincial government sa mga Ilonggo victims.

“The governor also gave instructions that our OpCen will proactively call or inform our local government units and even the barangays just in case they receive a report of an Ilonggo affected by the war. Governor Toto is closely monitoring the situation and also the Opcen,” pahayag pa ni Banias.
