Mga barangay officials ginahaylo ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas nga magpaidalum sa drug test

ILOILO CITY – Ginhaylo liwat ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas ang mga newly-elected barangay officials sa siyudad nga magpaidalom sa drug testing.

“Ang stand sang city [government] is strongly recommend and encourage our barangay officials to undergo drug testing…I strongly support the call of the government to make sure that our barangay officials are free from drugs,” suno kay Treñas.

Indi suno sa alkalde mapilit ang mga barangay officials tungod wala sang laye nga nagamandu sini pero pagpakita ini sang suporta sa kampanya sang gobyerno batuk sa illegal nga druga.

“Indi ta sila mapilit because there is no law and that is the reason why we only strongly encourage and recommend [to undergo drug test]. The city will provide the test kits,” dugang pa sang alkalde.

Una na nga ginkumpirmar ni Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) Director, Police Colonel Joeresty Coronica nga may mga nagdaug nga kandidato sa Barangay kag Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) sa siyudad nga involved sa illegal nga druga.
