District Engineer sang DPWH-ICDEO ideklarar ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas nga persona non grata

Ginpahibalo ni Mayor Jerry Treñas nga ideklarar niya nga persona non grata ang district engineer sang DPWH City District Engineering Office.

Sa iya Facebook post, ginpabutyag sang alkalde nga indi siya makatrabaho sa mga tawo nga wala sang respeto sa “highest elected official” sang city government.

Madamo man suno kay Mayor Treñas sang mga proyekto sa idalom sang ICDEO nga indi mapuslan.

“Let us call a spade a spade. Enough of these kinds of public servants,” ang pahayag pa sang alkalde.

Yari ang bilog nga statement ni Mayor Treñas:

I will be declaring the District Engineer of the City District Office of the Department of Public Works in Iloilo City persona non grata. Copies of the document will be sent to Sec Manny Bonoan and RD Sanny Boy Oropel for their perusal. We cannot work with people who do not respect the highest elected official of the city government. Furthermore, many projects of the district are white elephants and continue to be so for several years now. Let us call a spade a spade. Enough of these kinds of public servants.

I have utmost respect for Sec Manny Bonoan. I have known him to be decent, humble and hard working since the GMA days. Also, I have highest respect for you and other personnel of the DPWH. But this DE of yours has gone beyond normal norms in civilized society. If he cannot even show respect for me as the highest elected official in the city, then he has no place here in the city.
