“Task Force Puerto” sa Dumangas Port plano buhion

ILOILO — Nagaplano ang Iloilo Provincial Government nga buhion ang Task Force Puerto sa Dumangas.

Katuyuan sini nga matapna ang pagsulod sang illegal drugs sa probinsya halin sa Negros Occidental.

Isa ini sa mga ginmandu ni Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. kay bag-o nag Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Chief retired Colonel Cornelio Salinas.

Ginpahayag pa ni Defensor nga makit-an ang seryoso nga pagpakig-away sang Iloilo Provincial Government sa illegal nga druga tungod sa pagdugang ni Salinas sa puwersa sang PDRRMO kag Provincial Civil Defense Office.

“When having Colonel Salinas on board kun ang direksyon naton ang plano because aside from PDRRMO. Si Colonel Salinas is also our Provincial Civil Defense Officer and we have expanded the scope of the work of PDRRMO to [include the public safety],” pahayag pa ni Defensor.

Tun-an pa sang gobernador upod kay 4th District Board Member Rolando Distura bilang utok sang nasambit nga task force sang siya ang nangin alkalde sang Dumangas.

Ang Task Force Puerto ang ginabug-usan sang Dumangas Municipal Police Station, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA); Land Transportation Office (LTO) kag iban pa nga may tinutuyo nga matapna ang illegal activities sa puwerto.
