ILOILO CITY — May apat ka mga flood control projects sa Iloilo City ang duha sa 15 ka mga contractors nga ginhingadlan ni President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., nga may pinakamadamo nga flood control projects sa Pilipinas.
Base sa ginbuyagyag ni Mayor Raisa Treñas, nalakip diri ang Alpha & Omega General Contractor & Development Corp., ikaduha nga may pinakamadamo nga flood control projects sa pungsod, kag ang St. Timothy Construction Corp., ikalima nga may pinakadamo nga proyekto.
Yari ang proyekto nga gina-uyatan sang mga contractors sa siyudad:
1. St. Timothy Construction Corp.
* Project: Construction of Flood Mitigation Structure – Section 1, Lapuz, Iloilo City
* Programmed Amount: ₱150 million
* Original Expiry Date: December 16, 2024
2. St. Timothy Construction Corp.
* Project: Construction of Flood Mitigation Structure – Section 2, Lapuz, Iloilo City
* Programmed Amount: ₱150 million
* Original Expiry Date: December 16, 2024
3. St. Timothy Construction Corp.
*Project: Construction of Flood Mitigation Structure – Section 1, Iloilo City
*Programmed Amount: ₱125 million
*Original Expiry Date: November 14, 2025
*Remarks: Gin-suspend as of June 9, 2025 tungod sa obstruction kag wala matumod kon diin ang specific address
4. Alpha & Omega General Contractor & Development Corp.
* Project: Iloilo Comprehensive Flood Mitigation Project – Section 2 (wala matumod kun diin specific nga address)
* Programmed Amount: ₱150 million
* Target Completion Date: March 24, 2026
Suno kay Ms. Joy Fantilaga-Gorzal, spokesperson ni Treñas, natukiban ini sang alkalde base sa mga ginsumiter nga reports sang ICDEO sa Iloilo City Government.
Suno kay Treñas: “I take serious note of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s pronouncement this morning, naming the Top 15 contractors for flood control projects nationwide … I fully support the ongoing investigation initiated by President Marcos Jr. into these contractors and their projects.”
Dugang pa sang alkalde, nakahanda nga mag-cooperate ang Iloilo City agud maghatag sang kinahanglan nga mga impormasyon sa himuon nga imbestigasyon.
“Ang syudad sang Iloilo, sa idalum sang akon liderato, magabulig sa paghatag sang tanan nga impormasyon nga kinahanglan para sa sini nga imbestigasyon.
