ILOILO — Ginpabaskog sang Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) ang preventive kag community-based approach sa pagprotektar sang mga estudyante sa risgo sang illegal nga druga.
Naghimo sang coordination meeting ang ICPO sa Department of Education (DepEd) kag Commission on Higher Education (CHED) subong nga adlaw.
Nakatutok ang meeting sa mga concerns may kaangtanan sa gin-report nga distribution sang marijuana sa Iloilo City, partikular sa mga pamaagi nga malikawan sang kabataan ang illegal drugs.
Lakip man sa gin-istoryahan ang proposed capacity-building activities sa mga ginikanan kag posible nga paghimo sang Cyber Warriors sa mga eskwelahan.
Nag-propose man sang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) nga naga-establish sa madamo nga uniform kag coordinated approach agud ma-address ang marijuana-related concerns kag iban pa.
Suno kay ICPO director Police Colonel Wilbert Parilla, ini nga inisyatibo nagatuyo nga ma-protektahan ang estudyante paagi sa awareness, coordination, kag shared responsibility.
“We are reaching out not to create fear, but to save and protect our students. We need a unified effort to address this concern and ensure that our students are equipped with enough knowledge to make informed decisions and say no to illegal drugs,” suno sa PCOL Parilla.
