Sitwasyon sang power supply sa Iloilo, namitlangan ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte sa iya speech sa Palawan

Namitlangan ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte ang power situation kag mga electric cooperatives sa Iloilo.

Sa iya nga speech sa Joint National Task Force – Regional Task Force To End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) IV-B Meeting sa Puerto Princesa City, Palawan kahapon, Nobyembre 4, ginpabutyag sang presidente nga dapat mag-untat na lang ang mga power cooperatives kun indi makalagas sa power demand sa ila lugar agud nga makasulod ang dalagko nga players.

“Itong power shortage situation in the region, matagal na kasi itong ginareklamo (sic) ng mga tao. What is the best solution dito?,”  ang pahayag ni Presidente Duterte samtang nga gina-istorya si Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi.

“Kaawa naman itong… Iloilo, ganoon rin,” ang sugpon sang presidente.

Indi bation ang sabat ni Cusi, pero nabatian ang presidente nga nagpamangkot sa iya sang, “Kaya na ng kooperatiba?”

“Alam mo kasi itong cooperatives, you take Palawan, noong maliit pa ito, walang entrepreneurs na papasok. Just like any other community in the Republic of the Philippines, mayroon ‘yan silang kooperatiba. They contribute so that they can have energy,” suno kay Duterte.

“Pero ‘yung lumaki na kagaya ng Iloilo, the cooperatives cannot keep up with the progress. You have to, you know, itong energy you have to expand, and energy must eternally expand. Otherwise, babagsak ang ekonomiya,” ang dugang niya.

Ginhambalan ni Duterte ang mga electric cooperatives nga indi makasarang sa demand nga, “bitawan na ninyo because you cannot keep up. Iyong cooperative, ‘yung konti-konti lang kapital tapos bawi. You cannot progress with that kind of setup. Bigay talaga ninyo sa may pera. And then, so that the community can flourish with energy. Lahat, makinarya nila, kotse, whatever. May mga factory sila, they need power, energy.” –via RTVM
