Nagpatuman sang price freeze sa mga basic necessities sa 31 ka mga Local Government Units (LGUs) sa Western Visayas ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) 6 tungod sa gindeklarar nga state of calamity nga resulta sang epekto sang El Niño phenomenon kag pertussis outbreak.

Ini nga mga LGUs amo ang 18 ka mga banwa sa Antique; Sara, Estancia, Barotac Viejo, Bingawan, Passi City, Balasan, kag Dingle sa Iloilo; San Enrique, Kabankalan City, kag Valladolid sa Negros Occidental; Buenavista kag San Lorenzo sa Guimaras; kag Iloilo City.
