ICDEO gin-akusahan ang mga opisina sang Iloilo City government nga ginabalabagan ang implementasyon sang mga infrastructure projects
Nagapati ang Iloilo City District Engineering Office nga ginapulihan balabag sang mga opisina sa Iloilo City Government ang ila implementasyon sang infrastructure projects.
Sa statement ni ICDEO OIC Engr. Roy Pacanan, ginpanindugan niya nga nakaproseso ang ahensya kag kontraktor sang application for building permit.
Baliskad ini sa nauna ginpabutyag sang Office of the Building Official nga sa 7 ka proyekto, 17 ka kontrata ang kinahanglan nga building permit apang 4 lang diri ang naka-initial evaluation. 12 suno kay Building Official Engr. Mavi Gustilo ang wala application.
Gin-isa-isa ni Pacanan ang mga proyekto nga amo ang:
Multipurpose buildings sa Concepcion, City Proper; Santa Filomena, Arevalo; Tanza Esperanza, City Proper; Balantang, Jaro; Katilingban, Molo; Jalandoni Memorial High School Sports Complex; kag Mandurriao Market.
Sa statement ni Pacanan, “It must be recalled that the Iloilo City Council issued a resolution no. 2024-51739 dated 10 June 2024, revoking the authority of the DWH ICDEO concerning the seven (7) projects. On the same day, the Iloilo City Council also issued resolution no. 2024-5084 declaring the undersigned as Persona Non Grata in the City of Iloilo despite I was barely less than a year in ICDEO. Furthermore, on 11 June 2024, the Honorable City Mayor issued Executive Order no. 08441, which reiterated the same declaration. The said declaration caused irreparable damage to both the undersigned and the DWH ICDEO.
Subsequently, less than a month later, the Iloilo City Administrator issued a letter on 1 July 2024, requesting the status of the seven (7) projects. In addition, on 9 July 2024, our office received a letter from the Office of the Iloilo City Treasurer dated 8 July 2024, requesting for the contractor’s information of all the projects under the DPWH ICDEO for calendar years 2023 and 2024. These concerted efforts to impede the implementation of national funded projects are too obvious to ignore.
