Mayo 9, election day, gindeklarar ni Pres. Rodrigo Duterte nga special non-working holiday sa bilog nga pungsod

MANILA – Gindeklarar ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte ang Mayo 9 nga special non-working holiday bangud sa nagahilapit nga national kag local elections. Ini paagi sa Proclamation No. 1357 nga ginpaguwa kaina sang hapon.

“Therefore, I, Rodrigo Roa Duterte, President of the Philippines, by the virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, 09 May 2022, a special (non-working) holiday throughout the country for the National and Local elections,” base sa Proclamation 1357 ni President Duterte.

Kinahanglan suno sa iya nga ma-exercise sang mga pumuluyo ang ila kinamatarong nga magboto sa Lunes.

“There is a need to declare Monday, 09 May 2022, a special (non-working) holiday to enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote, subject to the public health measures of the national government,” dugang pa sang presidente.

Natalana nga magaboto ang mga Filipinos sang bag-o nga presidente, bise presidente, 12 ka senador, congressmen, local government officials, kag party-list representatives.
