Suno kay Defensor, luyag niya nga mapasanyog pa ang turismo sa probinsiya tungod madamo ini sang mapabugal sa amo nga industriya.

Bilang ambassador sang turismo, makabulig si Alexie sa pag-promote sang mga nagkalain-lain nga tourism programs sang Iloilo province agud nga mas makilala kag maganyat ang mga local kag foreign tourists nga magpadulong sa mga tourist spots.

Lakip sa mangin una nga i-promote ni Alexie ang ipaguwa nga Executive Order ni Defensor may kaangtanan sa pag-involve sang komunidad sa barangay nga mangin tourist destination ukon “Turista sa Barangay For MoRProGRes.”
